Paving the Wetlands? Public Meeting
Wednesday, December 10, 2008
7:00pm
FICRA is hosting a public forum to hear comments & feedback about a proposed road to be built adjacent to the Fox Island Nature Center, which will be located approximately 30' from the Nature Center's footbridge, and run the entire length of our property. This road is being proposed by the owners of an adjacent parcel of land, located due West of the Nature Center. The subject parcel abuts 8th Avenue, where a road already exists, however due to legal issues, the property owner has no legal rights to use 8th avenue. Island residents are encouraged to attend, and find out more about this threat to our wetland park.
Meeting will be held at the Nichols Community Center.
Call: John Ohlson at 253-380-4100
